To me he was Grandad Canada. I always thought of Grandad living in Whaletown enjoying his retirement and how happy he must’ve been in such a picturesque setting. We were so fortunate to spend time with Grandad in England when he moved back here. I remember our family day trip to London and how excited he was to be with us all. I remember as a child getting extremely excited on my birthday’s as he would always send Canadian Dollars and I used to think I was so rich, having a $50 note! He had one of those personalities that could make you laugh with the smallest of things, little jokes, daft comments and silly faces. I love you Grandad. I miss you and will never forget you.
